Ring a doorbell and ask for a drink, and you'll walk into a beautiful ba full of antiques and curios, with an electro-swing playlist that I couldn't stop shazam-ing. Your menu is simply a list of spirits and price (a great idea, since let's be honest, we all make our menu decisions at least in part by price), and then you chose your base spirit and describe your flavour preferences to the bartender, who immediately replies with an idea for something you might like. On my visit, with my girlfriend, we chose completely different things twice over, and all 4 cocktails we world-class and somehow perfect for our tastes. It helps that we know what we like! But I'm still stunned that from such a brief description our bartender was able to hit the nail so perfectly on the head 4 times in a row. We loved eachothers drinks, but always agreed the one made especially for us was just slightly more to our taste. Fantastic.
